Diindolylmethane is a metabolite of indole-3-carbinol, a chemical found in cruciferous vegetables, including broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, and Brussels sprouts. Diindolylmethane is formed in the gut following digestion of indole-3-carbinol.
