Orally, diindolylmethane is generally well tolerated.

Common orally taken adverse effects;

• Diarrhea
• Gas
• Headache
• Nausea
• Rash
• Vomiting

Rare & serious adverse effects;

• Drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) (Skin rash, Fever >38 degrees celsius, enlarged lymph nodes, blood cell count abnormality

 

Do not take if you are allergic to DIM or any of the constituents of this formulation.

Do not take beyond the expiry of this compound.

 

• Diuretics; Theoretically, large doses of DIM taken with sodium depleting diuretics can cause hyponatremia

• Estrogens; Theoretically, DIM can cause fluctuations in Estrogen levels, either increasing them or reducing them
